A B-26 Invader of the Far East Air Forces 3rd Bomb Group flies over the rugged mountains of the Korean Peninsula. The aircraft carries a mixed armament. For a troop concentrations, dug in positions, and bivouac areas, a battery of .50 caliber machine guns are mounted on the nose. For use against armor, locomotives, bridges and tunnels, a cluster of high velocity 5-inch rockets are hung from the wings. For vehicles, storage dumps, fuel and supply caches, barracks, warehouses, gun emplacements, and rolling stock, two tanks of napalm and a number of high explosive bombs are loaded in the bombbay. For defense against North Korean aircraft, the B-26 was also armed with a top turret carrying two .50 caliber machine guns.
